Holiday Safety
The Holidays are upon us and many will re-arrange their homes furnishings to decorate for the holidays. Be sure you have working smoke detectors in your home, and if you want to take an extra step towards fire safety, look into a heat detector ornament for your holiday decorations.  They sound an alarm early if your tree should catch fire.

Home Heating Safety
As the mercury drops in our thermometers and cold weather envelopes our homes, please use caution with supplemental heating appliances.  Never use an un-vented kerosene heater inside your home.  The fumes are deadly, and CO poisoning is a leading cause of deaths during Winter months each year.

Candles - The use of candles has increased as the scents continue to draw our attention to relaxing aromas.  Be sure you use candles safely in your home.
